A demo for Persona 3 Reload on PS5 and PS4 has been unexpectedly made available on the PS Store by Atlus, allowing prospective buyers to try the JRPG before they potentially buy. You get to experience the "opening months" of the game, and your save data will carry over if you commit to a purchase.
The game isn't on sale right now, but it has been half-price in recent months during PS Store promotions. "In the demo, players can experience the opening months of Persona 3 Reload and step into the shoes of a transfer student thrust into an unexpected fate," a press release says. "Awaken an incredible power and chase the mysteries of the Dark Hour, fight for your friends, and leave a mark on their memories forever."

One of the best PS5, PS4 games of 2024, the RPG made our overall top 10 GOTY list last year and was awarded a 9/10 rating in our Persona 3 Reload PS5 review. "Persona 3 Reload is a brilliant remake," we very nicely concluded. "In terms of gameplay, it's easily the best incarnation of a classic RPG, boasting countless quality of life and mechanical adjustments that place it alongside the outstanding Persona 5 Royal."
If you haven't already played the game, will you give the Persona 3 Reload demo a go? Let us know in the comments below.

This is an excellent service👌
I'mma check it out.
They really want Persona fans to play a game other than 5 dont they.
They should have done the demo before the game released last year in February though would have benefited sales more, a demo after the game has been out a year doesn’t make as much sense
@Haruki_NLI
There’s SMTV: Vengeance and Metaphor reFantazio as well for Persona fans to enjoy
Every game should have a demo or companies should adopt the 2 hour refund no questions asked policy like Steam
But why can't the characters - or at least the protag - change attire in these games like every other RPGs or open worlds...Your guy wore the same damn skin tights and checkered shirt the entire Metaphor Refantazio!
Sounds very generous.
I was pretty dissapointed by this remake. Maybe my expectations were too high. But it's not a bad game by any means. Still the worst of the "new" Persona games but a decent game.
Way better than the original, that's for sure.
Was kind of disappointed by Persona 3 Reload, I started with P5R and went to P4G on Vita which I loved, had ... leveled expectations for P3R given the source material age but it really doesn't do it for me. Not sure why it ranks amongst the highest of them all.
Also side note: everyone cheering a digital future, the game digitally is half off? I paid less than ÂŁ20 on eBay for a physical copy, beat the game in two months and resold it for the same price. Buy digital if you want but don't let the greedy corporations take our disc drives!!
Why now? Wouldn't it be best to put out a demo on release or just before?
@TheArt in persona 3 reload there's outfits that you can change for every playable character. It's only for changing in the dungeon tho. Everyone wears their school uniform during school days.
@Lup What is the cut-off point between "old" and "new" Persona games? I thought 5 onwards = new
@Foxhound
I meant 3 onwards. When you start having Social Links and school elements.
