Sandfall Interactive may well expand on the base game of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 with DLC in the future, as its lead writer says the chances of an expansion coming are "good".
Responding to an Instagram DM from a fan (via Vice), lead writer Jennifer Svedberg-Yen said that due to the massively positive reception the game has received since its launch last week, the team is still trying to process everything.
However, if there were a desire from fans for additional content, then Sandfall Interactive would "love to do something more". Based on the response so far, Svedberg-Yen said the "chances are good" for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 DLC.
The game provides quite a conclusive ending, but due to the way the overworld map of The Continent is structured, the studio could expand the universe with more places to visit and explore.
