Reminder: Look Out for PS5 Logos in Today's Xbox Showcase

Except for any games developed by Atlus, then we will have to wait a couple of days.

Gear eday ps5 version,ES6 ps5 version hummm for me thats it i don't care about fable if they redesign the MC maybe but for now nope ohh and starfield i don't care about that too

Not a lot from Microsoft that I'm interested in tbh, maybe State of Decay 3 or Fable but that's it. Mainly into my japanese games which there won't be a lot of in their show but il still watch it anyway.

@Lowdefal Its crazy how they think they can fool people into thinking an Atlus game isn't coming to Playstation, they are paying for nothing.

I would like to see a few surprises on this show, things that we haven’t heard about or don’t expect. I don’t mind knowing about Gears, Fable, state of decay etc, but none of that is really interesting to me. Now Devil May Cry 6 on the other hand?? Oh yeah!! 😂

I hope Halo comes to the Ouya.

It's funny, I don't even have an Xbox and yet it's the showcase I'm most excited for since all those games come to other plattforms like PC or PS5 (and maybe even Switch 2) anyway

I'll be watching it regardless, noone can deny they have killed it the last couple of years.

@Oram77 pretty sure plenty of people can. For me "killing it" is releasing a masterpiece like God of War or The Last of Us.

My son just beat Persona 3 Reload, so he's looking forward to seeing whether or not they'll announce a Persona 4 remake of some kind.

I don't really need to see more of Gears of War - I have so many hours into the original, and I'll buy a month of PS Plus when it comes out to play online a bit with my brother - which is wild to think about. Last time we played the game together on coop, his oldest was a toddler and I was a bachelor. Now he has grandchildren, and my son is about to start high school. What a mad, mad world.

There isn’t much left that’s already known I’m interested in. I’m no grifter; I knew Starfield was ***** the moment I saw it, and I would happily pay money to be able to hide it from appearing in the PS store whenever it inevitably does. Gears does nothing for me, and it’s too early for ES6. I’m hoping some lesser known stuff gets ported—how cool would having the Sunset Overdrive or Quantum Break platinums be?

Some of it will still be wrong and we will be left wondering it’s multi platform or not.
Remember some games might come to PS5 a year or 6 months after Xbox release so will they get the PS symbol on reveal?

Xbox need to keep Xbox owners hanging on a thread for a lot longer yet as that is where most GPU subs are.

@UltimateOtaku91 I don't think they every thought they wanted to fool people. Same way Sony never thought they were fooling anyone when they showed off let's say CoD: Cold War at the PS5 launch and didn't put an Xbox logo on the trailer. We all know it's multiplatform, but it's about emphasising it's on your platform.

In the case of the Atlus games, they'd never been on Xbox before, so emphasising they now were was actually quite useful for them.

With that said, after the last few reveals I'd say the point has been made an underlined, so this time it would be a bit annoying if they had the same embargo again.

@Lysterao Yeah It wouldn't make sense to do it this time especially with them now bringing their first party games to playstation and letting us know at the end of the trailers if they are or not. So why pay for third party playstation exclusion from trailers.

For me, confirmation that Fable will be on PS5 please.. and Starfield on PS this year, with the second DLC announced.

Gears remastered gameplay would be good. FH6 news would be splendid (Japan pls!), though probably not coming this year.

New 3D Banjo about as likely as Nintendo having a sale, but I live in hope.

@OldGamer999 That's true, the PlayStation logo may be there for games releasing soon (12-18 months) but for games that are still years away they might not put the PlayStation logo there yet.

Would a little Silksong really be too much to ask..?

Well... i am modestly curious about starfield. But, there really isn't much that Microsoft has that is of interest to me.

@UltimateOtaku91 Pretty much. It made sense then, when Xbox was finally managing to do a good job of enticing Japanese developers who'd never brought their games to Xbox before to actually do so. It was a genuine win for them (not at anyone else's expense, just some positive news). Whereas now it's expected. No one is really doing Xbox Exclusives anymore other than Xbox, who are getting out of doing them themselves, but at the same time fare fewer games are skipping the platform, at least not permanently.

They're no longer fighting the "no games" narrative, or the expectations that 3rd parties won't support them, and their own support for other platforms has been established firmly.

@naruball I completely agree with you, I would add TLoU part 2 as that's a master piece (which is meant to be a hot take some how). I was talking more about how much buzz/excitement their last two showcases have been.

It'll be interesting to see this show get praised for third-party games while Sony's get torn apart for the exact same thing. 🍿

@Oram77 eh? they've released games that have already been in development for years that where already in development for another platform , they've since released all those games on the other platform to recoup the ridiculous amount of money they spent on acquiring those games in the first place and the money they lose putting those games on game pass, hardly killing it.

@Nem I enjoyed starfield for what it was, played over 100hrs , its in a much better condition now than it was , it'll sell like hot cakes on ps , if they announce a release date for hellblade 2 I advise nobody to buy it, spare everyone from hellblade 3.

Yep it still won’t be straightened forward.
I guess the PS logo will be there for games day one on Xbox and PS.
But for those that might come 6 months plus after Xbox release to PS, the logo might not be there.
Really is not simple and easy with Xbox and what games PS might get.
It’s also leaves potential new consoles buyers possible a bit miffed on wait console or eco system to buy into, if they sitting on the fence.

For me it’s only GPU on Xbox that currently keeps my series x.

Currently I’m enjoying Switch 2 mainly.

I've been saying this (and asking this) ever since Spencer made the announcement, @OldGamer999. When they say the PlayStation logo will be on the trailer, do they mean for games that release day and date on both platforms? Do they intend the logo to be there for games releasing 6 months later? 12 months? Or does the absence of a logo mean it will never, ever be ported?

When you consider what Spencer said, he will left themselves will a huge amount of wiggle room, and left us gamers with a huge number of unanswered questions, which, of course, is what Microsoft do all the blasted time. How are you supposed to make an informed decision when you don't have all the answers...?

I'm guessing they will be the only "Brilliant" stream in Not-E3 season. Just like last couple of years.

The only games from Microsoft I'm interested to be ported to PlayStation are Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey.
