We didn't have a new Super Meat Boy game on our bingo card, but here we are.
Super Meat Boy 3D has been announced, coming from Headup Games and Sluggerfly.
As the title suggests, it brings the cult classic platformer into 3D for the first time.
It looks like a fairly direct translation of the ultra-tough run and jump gameplay into the third dimension, with the usual buzzsaws, meat grinders, and other challenging obstacles to overcome.
It's due for release in early 2026 on PS5.

I like both previous games. This looks even more difficult. I am excited for it.
Although I normally hate 3d platformers, this one looks dope!

@crackeastwood astro's playroom was decent, haven't played Jak and Daxter, didn't like Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.

hahaha, I played through the original meat boy, and celeste, and the two ori games, and now have no hair on my head left to tear out. I love the look of this but don't know if I can put myself through another rage inducing platformer like this...
