@stefan771 its not a conspiracy tho, Rockstar have decided to develop GTA:O post-launch and intentionally neglected RDR2. They are in no rush to develop new games. People want new titles sooner but Rockstar make billions selling shark cards. Both are valid complaints. RDR2 isn't as popular so they haven't bothered simple as that. Rockstar really aren't the victim in this situation.
This happens too often to be considered "mishandled" communication. Sony has taken a stance of telling the consumer as little as possible and when compared to Microsoft's approach they are coming across as cold. Every large corporation has the autonomy to really act as they please but PR exists for a reason and Sony are really starting to appear the bad guys in my view.
I am probably in the minority but this looks better than expected. Sure it will be filled with Ubisoft filler etc but so far it looks far less of an s#it show than the rumours implied. Hopeful.
The question is how many of those 4 million customers were willing to pay the full retail price? Reviews were average and had little traction after release. Had Sony not marketed this title who would have known had released let alone paid full retail for it? They needed the funding to complete the project. They received the funding but we're unhappy with the success of the "give away". That's part of the story but not solely the reason why this game wasn't a success.
@stefan771 The delay in bringing GTA 6 to market is almost certainly because of the success of the online component. They are making billions a year from GTA online and the migration process will protentionally disturb this market. Rockstar created Rockstar Studios for RDR2 were everyone was working on RDR2 on it's active development yes but for the entirety of it's development. Development started in 2010 and three years before GTA V was even released. It's firmly established that Take-Two and Rockstar chose to take their time to milk as much value from GTA V as possible. Next-Gen and this new subscription service are part of that plan. By the time GTA 6 is here, it will be over 10 years between titles and that' not solely because they happen to make another game in-between.
@Luigia Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony are only concerned with making as much money as possible while keeping you as a customer on their platform. Xbox has gamepass because they believe it is the best way to make money in the long run, not because they want to give value to gamers. Shareholders are uninterested in you or anyone else other than the value you bring to the ecosystem. It's a plus if they make a lot of money and have a good reputation. Despite the look how approachable we are type PR they put out, corps are not your friends. Every decision is made with the bottom line in mind, and it is up to you to decide which business model suits you best.
@Apfelschteiner Most games have been delayed due to the pandemic. Changes to working practice have knock-on effects beyond setting up remote working facilities. Over a 2 year period, a significant amount of time is lost whilst everyone gets up to speed, troubleshooting is ironed out, means for the collaborative team working addressed etc. Its not unreasonable for a significant amount of time to be lost and that's not necessary due to mismanagement. Some studios faired better than others however I think we can all agree it's been a difficult couple of years and delays seem to be expected from even the most equipped teams.
Nope! Not to be overly negative but I would prefer a single-player only campaign with multiplayer elements. I have no interest in asymmetrical multiplayer games.
@Milktastrophe Thank you, but I am aware of what "security concern" means. I think it's you who has missed the point.
If you had genuine concerns over the security of the game you could phase it such as: "Hey, I noticed you mentioned security concerns in the tagline, what's that about?". The response is as I've explained it was a bit of wordplay. Harmless and intended to be funny.
The alternative would be to question the article as you have with a question and then accusations of "blatant lies". That's no longer a question that's an insult and accusing someone, especially a journalist of being a liar because you misunderstood what their intent is not a small thing. They work their asses off for this site and they are not impervious to your outbursts.
Being kind costs nothing, thinking of others is free.
@GADG3Tx87 "Microsoft are buying up lots of studios. Releasing them behind a paywall. Taking them away from two other major platforms and filling games with microtransactions."
Microsoft has yet to release a game developed by a major studio or publisher that it has acquired, let alone one that includes MTX. Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo, in fact, will be published ahead of any Xbox exclusive Bethesda game. I understand that you, like many others, are unhappy with the way Microsoft does business. Paywall? The gamepass is a subscription service. You can play hundreds of games for a small fee before purchasing them at a reduced price. Unless your referring to the exclusive paywall? Well that's an argument however given the above games are PS only and Final Fantasy is not on Xbox, the remake or 16.
The Xbox exclusive deals have yet to be felt by any PS fan.
I am strongly opposed to major third-party publishers being purchased and MS is playing a monopolistic game, but the value supplied by incorporating things like free EA access in the gamepass is why they are succeeding in establishing a fast growing subscription service.
Sony is the one who must respond. Come up with a response to gamepass. New PS5 exclusives cost £70 which is more then Series X exclusives at £60 , PS Plus is more expensive for less content given PSNow is lacking any content that would trouble Xbox and has terrible infrastructure, and lastly PS5 native games require paid upgrades, where as Xbox give give them free. PS is fast becoming the most expensive place to play games Yes, Microsoft is making aggressive moves but it doesn't mean they're to blame for everything Playstation has or is currently doing.
Under Jim Ryan, PlayStation has been the most aggressive towards customers this generation, and that is no coincidence. When they go to the store and observe the difference in perceived value, you can't expect the layperson to care about political rights and wrongs. Sony is no longer competition for Microsoft. In this new scenario, Sony needs to create their own marketplace, which was always going to happen when the Microsoft's, Google's, or any of the tech behemoths chose to really play. The video gaming industry is flourishing, and everyone wants a cut of the profits.
Played this on the Series X on gamepass. For me, it's a pass. However, after reading some really positive feedback from other reviews I was pretty optimistic going in. It's a meh kind of game tho, the attempt to introduce dynamic gameplay components that play out like little forced minigames are irritating. The dice roll of objectives and three-level progressions via risk reward are a good idea; it plays out in the same was tho this is the phase where you have to shoot everything, and now you have to stealth, this section is forced urgency but make sure you complete the extract the operative mini-game, now sneak out using the exit signs, fail to do that and it goes to 💩. It leaves very little room for imaginative play. Great review tho Graham 👍 nailed my thoughts and feelings. 6 is fair.
@rachetmarvel This is completely subjective; these players were not chosen only based on their statistics. It's EA's picks. It's nearly impossible to put all of your biases aside fully, so pointing someone out for having one doesn't help anyone's case.
This ranking was most likely influenced not only by individual player performances or how they play as a team but also by the need to increase Fifa pack sales and maintain good PR with 'partner' clubs.
I love Horizon zero dawn and I am sure this next one will be another massive success. No idea if its directed or her style but the delivery of the dramatic voice by Ashly Burch (Aloy) for use in the trailers and big scenes really irritates me, I think for me it feels like an attempt to force urgency and drama. Then again maybe it's that type of dialogue as I am not a fan of games that give the player "hurry up" dialogue as soon as you leave the 2 meters away from the intended path which GOTG is a massive fan of.
@XOF as we know Call of Duty is a huge system seller; it's not my cup of tea, but from the standpoint of a 'casual' gamer, it's huge and will make massive ripples in console sales once it becomes exclusive. I hope Sony can make a good first-person shooter, but none have been successfully established. IPs do exist, and they can be developed, but it will take time. In the meantime, MS owns nearly every major FPS IP, including Doom, Wolfenstein, and others. It's not all doom and gloom, however; a significant portion of gamers play COD exclusively, these players will migrate to Xbox. Microsoft has realized that value by acquiring Activision for $68 billion rather than bringing COD to game pass day one and keeping it Multiplatform.
What's in those contracts is the main question. This might also be viewed as Sony engaging in some public relations manoeuvring. Limiting the harm by hinting that Microsoft is required to retain COD multiplatform while making future plans, hence preventing customers from buying Xbox instead of PS during this period of 'confusion.' PS appears to have had a marketing arrangement with COD for quite some time, however I doubt it was originally for more than 5 years.
@Shinnok789 This point of view perplexes me. A person created a non-profit mod in their spare time, and some others found it amusing and utilised it, which has now been picked up by other people on social media. You don't agree since it isn't for the love of the art and is a waste of time? Every pastime is a kind of procrastination. Negative emotions should not be triggered by those who are having a good time messing with game code that leaves your game unaffected. This is harmless fun.
@guntam I read about 80% of all the comments yes? Not that you wanted a response other than in a vain attempt to discredit me. The hostility shown by certain members in this chat makes any reasoned and civilised conversation impossible.
"I'll sum up again: to the consumer, which CEOs are walking away with the most profit means nothing."
I will point you back to the article which again explains this situation very clearly. You as the consumer might not care. That doesn't make the possible negative effects disappear as explained in the article that's the point of this comment section to comment thoughts on the article not to close down all conversation as you feel it's unnecessary. Have a great day, we do not need to continue this conversation.
@guntam MS market cap is 2.2 trillion. Where this this 400 billon number everyone is touting has appeared from who knows. Aside from Amazon, Google & Apple who are not interested in buying publishers at this time MS has the cap space to buy all third party publishers. As this articles details the reasons why this sale is industry-changing very well I am confused to why the question is being asked about why it's a problem. It damages Sony's bottom line and promotes MS into a much more powerful position.
I never really used Dreams that much, found the creation controls difficult on a controller and 80 quid odd asking price for some old tech Move controllers was a bit steep, however that being said people make some quality content via that software is some of it is outstanding. I am more than happy just to support the platform and I hope Sony executives feel the same way.
@Spyroescape glad you picked up on that too. Being unhappy with Sonys decision to port to PC is one thing it's a business decision and everyone can disagree with its merit. Being unhappy/upset that PC gamers enjoy the game is entitled.
Sony is 'mum' and she's allowing the other kids to play with the old toys and they hate it.
Who knows where this PC port policy will lead in the coming years, but for the time being it has no impact on Sony's output of games for PlayStation consoles, and PC gamers adore Sony studios' work. Its a win/win
Who knew that many people on this site were paranoid and believe in the PC takes over apocalypse that's been preached for every gen since the PS2 era. The end is nigh. The phrase "mountain from a molehill" comes to mind. Yes, Sony is attempting to obliterate their own highly profitable division of their company by bringing 'exclusives' to the PC that have been played and appreciated by the PS community for years! Even if that were the case. What about Xbox players the total fools, if only they knew they could just get a PC and play all those games, instead the Series X and S consoles are sitting at 13 million-odd sales. The First party output of PlayStation is insane and long may it continue. How is GOW being ported in nearly 4 years after release with slight graphical upgrades, damaging Sony first-party output? It doesn't people are just uncomfortable with it and none of these doomsday predictions come to pass yet it's on to the next one, and the cycle continues.
GTA on the go then! Please, God, put an end to it. It's time to stop milking the cow. RDR and other IPs have been overlooked in favour of GTA Online. Now 12 billion to bring it to mobile. The reality is people are still spending ridiculous amounts of money on this ancient game. I dislike this one game of gen nonsense but still putting insane resources into MTX 'products'.
To Stir up drama on the back of GOT sucesss is a tad low. He had full knowledge that 8 million played doesn't equal 8 million sold. He seems so petulant and bitter like a snakey ex that just can't leave it be. I get not having the chance to make DG 2 is disappointing, however, many other developers carry move on without the circus after their game pitch is unsuccessful. A person of his standing should know better.
"single-player experience that is built on choices that matter". Remember when a game designed as a single player title was considered just a game and not promoted or advertised as such. The previous games as a service titles were so bad that no one wanted to play them so they relented and will no doubt try again further down the road. Corporations are not our friends but they are also extremely tone deaf unless it damages the profit margin. We can thank Anthem for that.
@elvisfan1 This game was created specifically for the PlayStation 4; it began development as a PS4 title in 2017 with that hardware in mind. This is a PS4 game that has been ported to the PS5; nothing has held it back because it was always meant to be this way. If this game were to be a PS5-only title, you'd be lucky to get a chance to play it by 2023 or later. Changing this to a PS5 only title now will not make the game better. The engine pipeline is set up for a cross gen title with scalability in mind.
Given the importance of timing in these games, you'd think that fixing the frame pacing issue would be the first priority. It's been a problem in all of FromSoftware's games, and I don't think they've ever been held accountable for it because of the high quality of the games they make, but come on, it should be corrected by now. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
@Octane Not sure how that makes it any less impressive. All LCD "3D" is just a screen. Only someone has to design it, implement and pay for it. That's what makes it impressive. Its beyond the norm or regular advertising. Everything is pretty mundane if you break it down into the sum of its parts.
@nessisonett VaatiVidya, a YouTuber, has done comprehensive analyses on the early network test, and based on the stories thus far, those sensitive to spoilers should avoid it. If you don't care about the intricacies, you can give any game a comparable "it's just" when summarising the plot. I'm not a huge "dark souls" fan and I suck at these games however his videos have shown me how complex and nuanced these games are.
@lolwhatno the lore is a huge draw for many fans, labeling them goblins is unnecessary. The lore is the foundation of all world-building they aren't mutually exclusive. Introducing accomplished writers to any game regardless of the genre is great for the industry as a whole. It further legitimises the medium as a comparable choice when reviewed alongside books and movies etc.
I died at the boss of Biome 3 in the end stages too many times, became frustrated and gave up. I don't regret my purchase. Great showpiece for the 3D pulse headphones. Love the warping from place to place also Good game I just didn't have the patience to "get good".
@Alduin In 2017, HDZ launched followed by GOW in 2018, and finally Death Stranding in 2019. Years later, they came to PC. If you're willing to wait years for a game to be released, own a powerful PC to play titles that run heavier on PC as ports with all the bells and whistles and that is preferable than getting a PS5 and enjoying the game on the day of release the I agree it's pointless to own a PS5. That is not the same as everyone owning a PS5 is "pointless" most people desire to play new releases right away on the hardware it was intended for. PC ports have been rocky performance wise aside from DS but then that game received a PS5 native port aswell. Sony is not forthcoming with PC Ports, and they are subjected to sporadic announcements. The business plan will always be to sell PS5s first and then add PCs afterwards, rather than selling to PC users and PS5 consumers that brought the pointless PS5.
@AFCC it wasn't my intention to single you out. More offering my 2 pence off your comment about price and expectations. All of this is subjective. 40 Euro is a gamble for a DLC. I can see why that would be viewed as expensive. 40 hours is longer than most games that are single-player focused however and massive for a DLC. AC of course is full of bloat tho.
Ringu or the Ring to you filthy casuals I am a said casual, good to known tho. I am not a massive fan of this game but my God they seem to add content. I hope this one switches the premise up a bit.
@AFCC On the PSN shop, full-priced titles cost between £60 and £70. So I wouldn't anticipate a full game for 33 quid; some independent games are more pricey. It is, in my opinion, a non-issue.
Those who are interested, will buy it! Nobody is being forced to do this. I brought the ultimate edition, and I'm not interested in this at all. However, I do not believe that 33 pounds for a 40-hour expansion is excessive. It's a product, not a privilege, to be sold. They've delivered on their promises while also adding new content.
That was a real wow moment for me! Almost wish I hadn't seen it until I play the game tho. Mind blown! This game is feeling more and more flashed out from the original and the new "machines" look incredible.
@Ken_Kaniff in what way? HZD:FW is an early 2022 cross gen open world action RPG game. Hellblade is still without a date, next gen only, linear story driven game. Both very different titles attempting to realise very different goals. Both look amazing and I am personally excited for more of them both. The First Hellblade was a great game and graphically impressive. The point I am making I suppose is HZD and Hellblade are not in the same game space and will be released more than a year apart in all likelihood.
@Would_you_kindly Let's face it, most people despise him because of the controversy surrounding The Last of Us Part 2. Only a small handful of people would be able to tell you who wrote a game's storey, let alone the politics around the writers. I believe the Last of Us Part 2 was a daring game to develop, and I'll always encourage people who take chances in an industry full of copy-and-paste titles, however, a small loud community tend to disagree and treat him as a villain.
@KippDynamite the Relax and Relex Pro have all the standard PS5 controller features. The SCUFF FPS version has the PS5 features removed. "Pro" FPS gamers turn off all the graphic flare, motion blur etc and controller vibrations/adaptive triggers. It's less about the user experience over gaining a slight advantage over the competition, this controller is targeted at that demographic. Most pro players don't use Scuff controllers however.
@JJ2 the difference between we have 4 or 5 games to be revealed on the level of the most hyped game and saying I have a great show something for everyone tune in. Jeff is often hyperbolic and treading the line of saying just enough not to be held accountable for his outlandish statements when inevitably every year doesn't live up to the hype. The same way a car salesman sells you a crappy car. At the time he's your buddy cutting you a deal. Only next time you buy your far more alert to his tactics.
@Haruki_NLI Rehash is almost too polite. The lack of experience from a studio doesn't reduce the price of the product. In any other industry that doesn't fly. If you handed a studio a script for a big franchise and they gave it to a thirdparty full of guys learning the ropes. It turns out half arsed and mediocre at best. But you charge you full price and everyone was expecting a "AAA" product 👍. All of the terrible reviews are null? That's a woeful excuse for GameFreaks and this is just a Xmas little effort as possible, money grab. Some people will love and enjoy the game that doesn't change the fact that little effort and care has been made and all reviews can be pushed off as "we didn't develop this" excuses.
@Yaycandy They are, without a question, at the top of the heap. The constant cash-cow that is GTA: online allowed for that level of focus and dedication. Apart from CDPR, no other developer has such privilege. There's not much to say about that. RDR2 is one of my all-time favourite games. Rockstar could release more and sooner if they wanted to. Everyone is constrained by the same set of hardware limitations. Other studios can generate four games in a single generation, but Rockstar can only accomplish barely one. The dedication and amount of detail are only part of that formula, coupled with the management's decision to release fewer titles and sell more MTX, as shown in RDR online and GTA. I love the development team and what they produce, however, rockstar uses a well-defined business practice. Make as much for as little content as possible. This has been their business practice for many years now and I don't care for it.
@Yaycandy Thank you for bringing this to my attention; Take Two's "FORM 10-K" suggests a major push for GTA 6 in the future years. GTA 6 is on its way. As everyone knows, Rockstar promotes their major franchises years in advance of their release. In my opinion, it's not ideal if they only manage one game every 5 or 6 years.
I'm interested in seeing what they do at Rockstar in between "big" productions. Insomniac Games, for example, produces game after game. Now I'm a huge fan of Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2. GTA V was excellent, but this is all they could come up with when GTA 6 was in pre-production, which it should be out of by now? All they've managed in the three years since RDR 2 is remasters of old games and GTA:V E&E. Yes, GTA:V online exists but is just a tonne of DLC shovel ware managed by a team. They appear to make a lot of money for a small amount of output. What is the status of RDR 2 next-gen Rock*? 3 gens of the same game at full price is egregious. Mindblowing in 2013.... not so much in 2021.
@RedKnight34 the reality is Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 – sold 14.3 million copies. Numbers that most publishers dream of for a "failure". Uncharted 4 sold 16 odd million, however BO4 outsold Spiderman, HZD and TLOU:R. It was by no stretch a failed product. I wasn't personally a fan but that doesn't change the facts it sold in droves.

Microsoft has realized that value by acquiring Activision for $68 billion rather than bringing COD to game pass day one and keeping it Multiplatform.
Re: Sony Responds to Activision Blizzard Buyout, Expects Games to Still Come to PS5, PS4
Re: A Big Eyes and Mouth God of War PC Mod Has Gone Viral
@Shinnok789 This point of view perplexes me. A person created a non-profit mod in their spare time, and some others found it amusing and utilised it, which has now been picked up by other people on social media. You don't agree since it isn't for the love of the art and is a waste of time? Every pastime is a kind of procrastination. Negative emotions should not be triggered by those who are having a good time messing with game code that leaves your game unaffected. This is harmless fun.
Re: Reaction: Activision Blizzard Buyout Is Devastating for PS5, PS4
Re: Reaction: Activision Blizzard Buyout Is Devastating for PS5, PS4
@guntam MS market cap is 2.2 trillion. Where this this 400 billon number everyone is touting has appeared from who knows. Aside from Amazon, Google & Apple who are not interested in buying publishers at this time MS has the cap space to buy all third party publishers. As this articles details the reasons why this sale is industry-changing very well I am confused to why the question is being asked about why it's a problem. It damages Sony's bottom line and promotes MS into a much more powerful position.
Re: Random: We Thought This T-Rex Made in Dreams Was a Shot from Jurassic Park
I never really used Dreams that much, found the creation controls difficult on a controller and 80 quid odd asking price for some old tech Move controllers was a bit steep, however that being said people make some quality content via that software is some of it is outstanding. I am more than happy just to support the platform and I hope Sony executives feel the same way.
Re: Cory Barlog Has 'No Idea' if God of War Ragnarok Will Come to PC
@Spyroescape glad you picked up on that too. Being unhappy with Sonys decision to port to PC is one thing it's a business decision and everyone can disagree with its merit. Being unhappy/upset that PC gamers enjoy the game is entitled.
Sony is 'mum' and she's allowing the other kids to play with the old toys and they hate it.
Who knows where this PC port policy will lead in the coming years, but for the time being it has no impact on Sony's output of games for PlayStation consoles, and PC gamers adore Sony studios' work. Its a win/win
Re: Hands On: God of War PC Is a Great Way to Play a PS4 Classic
Re: This Is Elden Ring's Character Creator, Apparently
@kyleforrester87 We could be unremarkable twins! Bald is beautiful mate 🤣
Re: GTA Publisher Acquires Mobile Giant Zynga for $12.7 Billion
GTA on the go then! Please, God, put an end to it. It's time to stop milking the cow. RDR and other IPs have been overlooked in favour of GTA Online. Now 12 billion to bring it to mobile. The reality is people are still spending ridiculous amounts of money on this ancient game. I dislike this one game of gen nonsense but still putting insane resources into MTX 'products'.
Re: Days Gone's Reported 8 Million Sales Not Necessarily Accurate
To Stir up drama on the back of GOT sucesss is a tad low. He had full knowledge that 8 million played doesn't equal 8 million sold. He seems so petulant and bitter like a snakey ex that just can't leave it be. I get not having the chance to make DG 2 is disappointing, however, many other developers carry move on without the circus after their game pitch is unsuccessful. A person of his standing should know better.
Re: BioWare Still 'Hard at Work' on New Mass Effect, Dragon Age 4
"single-player experience that is built on choices that matter". Remember when a game designed as a single player title was considered just a game and not promoted or advertised as such. The previous games as a service titles were so bad that no one wanted to play them so they relented and will no doubt try again further down the road. Corporations are not our friends but they are also extremely tone deaf unless it damages the profit margin. We can thank Anthem for that.
Re: E3 2022 Won't Be Held in Person, Online Show Not Confirmed Yet
@Integrity make sure you start as soon anything is shown regardless of what it is... Whoooooooo yeah! Wooooohooooo!
Re: There's a Stronger, Mysterious Tribe in Horizon Forbidden West on PS5, PS4
@elvisfan1 This game was created specifically for the PlayStation 4; it began development as a PS4 title in 2017 with that hardware in mind. This is a PS4 game that has been ported to the PS5; nothing has held it back because it was always meant to be this way. If this game were to be a PS5-only title, you'd be lucky to get a chance to play it by 2023 or later. Changing this to a PS5 only title now will not make the game better. The engine pipeline is set up for a cross gen title with scalability in mind.
Re: Elden Ring Dev Feels the Heat of Demon's Souls' Sumptuous PS5 Remake
Given the importance of timing in these games, you'd think that fixing the frame pacing issue would be the first priority. It's been a problem in all of FromSoftware's games, and I don't think they've ever been held accountable for it because of the high quality of the games they make, but come on, it should be corrected by now. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Re: Impressive Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Billboard Goes Viral in Japan
@Octane Not sure how that makes it any less impressive. All LCD "3D" is just a screen. Only someone has to design it, implement and pay for it. That's what makes it impressive. Its beyond the norm or regular advertising. Everything is pretty mundane if you break it down into the sum of its parts.
Re: George R. R. Martin Thinks Elden Ring Looks 'Incredible'
Re: George R. R. Martin Thinks Elden Ring Looks 'Incredible'
Re: Not Everyone Had the Fortitude to Finish Returnal on PS5
I died at the boss of Biome 3 in the end stages too many times, became frustrated and gave up. I don't regret my purchase. Great showpiece for the 3D pulse headphones. Love the warping from place to place also Good game I just didn't have the patience to "get good".
Re: Nixxes Responsible for Recent Horizon Zero Dawn PC Patches
Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok Costs $40, Not Included in the Season Pass
Re: Yes, The Ring Is Coming to Dead by Daylight on PS5, PS4 Next Year
Ringu or the Ring to you filthy casuals I am a said casual, good to known tho. I am not a massive fan of this game but my God they seem to add content. I hope this one switches the premise up a bit.
Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok Costs $40, Not Included in the Season Pass
Re: Did You Spot the Snake Robot in Horizon Forbidden West's PS5, PS4 Trailer?
That was a real wow moment for me! Almost wish I hadn't seen it until I play the game tho. Mind blown! This game is feeling more and more flashed out from the original and the new "machines" look incredible.
Re: New Horizon Forbidden West Trailer Features Gameplay and Costumes
@Ken_Kaniff in what way? HZD:FW is an early 2022 cross gen open world action RPG game. Hellblade is still without a date, next gen only, linear story driven game. Both very different titles attempting to realise very different goals. Both look amazing and I am personally excited for more of them both. The First Hellblade was a great game and graphically impressive. The point I am making I suppose is HZD and Hellblade are not in the same game space and will be released more than a year apart in all likelihood.
Re: New Wonder Woman Game Will Use the Nemesis System
This could be a winner 👍
Re: Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann to Present at The Game Awards
@Would_you_kindly Let's face it, most people despise him because of the controversy surrounding The Last of Us Part 2. Only a small handful of people would be able to tell you who wrote a game's storey, let alone the politics around the writers. I believe the Last of Us Part 2 was a daring game to develop, and I'll always encourage people who take chances in an industry full of copy-and-paste titles, however, a small loud community tend to disagree and treat him as a villain.
Re: Scuf Reveals First Line of Third-Party PS5 Controllers, Prices Start at $200
@KippDynamite the Relax and Relex Pro have all the standard PS5 controller features.
Re: Geoff Keighley Teases 'Four or Five' Elden Ring Calibre Showcases for The Game Awards
Re: UK Sales Charts: Battlefield 2042 Settles for Third While Spider-Man: Miles Morales Swings Back
@Haruki_NLI Rehash is almost too polite.
Re: This Is What the GTA Trilogy Looks Like on PS5, PS4
Re: This Is What the GTA Trilogy Looks Like on PS5, PS4
@Yaycandy Thank you for bringing this to my attention; Take Two's "FORM 10-K" suggests a major push for GTA 6 in the future years. GTA 6 is on its way. As everyone knows, Rockstar promotes their major franchises years in advance of their release. In my opinion, it's not ideal if they only manage one game every 5 or 6 years.
Re: This Is What the GTA Trilogy Looks Like on PS5, PS4
Re: DICE Details New Specialists and Laundry List of Changes Following Battlefield 2042 Beta
