I am not sure why this once professional website suddenly seems to want to go into gutter with these sophomoric articles almost daily. It is one of the main problems with the entire industry and they are too blind to realize it. If it is not a headline that uses a sexual pun or a sexual inuendo it is a provactiv picture of some obscure Japanese game. Grow up and gain some dignity. I am out of here.
Wife got me fallout 4, rise of the tomb raider, and the bioshock collection along with a Blanka pop figure.
By end of the day between in laws and parents I should have no man's sky, tmnt mutants in Manhattan, street fighter v, tearaway unfolded, and gravity Rush along with $150 in cash.
Titanfall 2 single player campaign. I am about to beat it but I really have not enjoyed it so I will trade it in after completion. I have also started up Hearthstone on my tablet. Also as always Animal Crossing where I will be landscaping as I await Jingle's visit.
I do not understand why this feature is always posted this late. It should be posted on Friday's. Sometimes I think that this feature does not get posted on time or in Nintendo Life's instance because they could not get all the writers to provide what they are playing for the article.
No offense but if the feature is getting overlooked or posted late because the community is waiting for the writers to post what they are playing I do not think it would bother anybody just to for the article to state "please share what you are playing". This way the community can share what they are playing before early to mid Saturday. Pure Xbox was always late posting this feature too.
It is the community sharing feature that is enjoyed not what the writers are playing. It is fine to post that but not to the detriment on forgetting the article or delaying it.
I used the accessibility feature in Uncharted 4 that allows you to just hold down a button rather than repeatedly hitting it to open a door or turn a wheel. I do not have a physical impairment but I really enjoyed that feature because it is less wear and tear on my controller.
I just beat Uncharted 3. I picked up The Last of Us, Titanfall 2, and Rainbow Six Seige on Black Friday so I will be choosing between those. I also just started my second play through of A Link Between Worlds.
We must respect women!...what they covered up the nude woman? How dare they... we must have our women as sex objects. Blah, blah, blah sprinkle in the term "artistic expression" to try to make an argument.
I just beat Knack. I have been trophy hunting in Uncharted 4. I may hold off on game purchases until black Friday. I really want to get Tearaway Unfolded and Gravity Rush Remastered.
This is one of the main reasons I bought a PS4 slim recently. Sony has a pretty good selection of family friendly games. I just bought Knack last week and have been having fun with it. I am hoping to pick up Tearaway unfolded on black Friday.
So just to clarify if I bought this edition of the game then the offline skirmish mode would be included on the disc with no need to download the patch from a couple of months ago which included that feature.
I have been playing through Animal Crossing New Leaf and Happy Home Designer. My wife and I decided to start new towns. I plan on making some progress in Uncharted 4 tomorrow.
I actually went out of my way to get the 500gb system to help prevent myself from accumulating a backlog. I have a problem buying games on sale especially during Black Friday knowing I will never have the time to play them.
My current plan is to play through a game completely before buying another one. Well I am not sure if that is my plan or my wife's plan for me LOL.
I have completely wasted some money on games in the past where I bought them with full intentions of playing them but never even tore the plastic off of them until I am in the parking lot of GameStop getting ready to trade them in like some type of junky.
If I wish to continue my hobby I must obey the play through a game before I get a new one rule. 😃
Thanks for the recommendation but the Last of Us does not appeal to me. I am definitely more into the kid friendly platformers.
While I am enjoying the Uncharted 4 gameplay, the content does not appeal to me. I am enjoying the ride as it is like an Indiana Jones movie but once I am through I am trading the game in. I only have it because it was bundled with the system.
I am more of an Animal Crossing and Donkey Kong Country type of gamer. I also like quirky type of games think Katamari Damacy or Culdcept. I actually know very little about Final Fantasy but I just bought Theaterhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call on a whim and have been playing it alot.
@Pink_Floyd
Well I am coming over from Xbox (although I am a Nintendo gamer first and foremost) I am a Halo fan so I was more interested in experiencing the game play of Destiny than the story. I am not planning on paying for PS+.
I switched to PS4 due to the atrocious game install times on the Xbox One. PS4 is so much better in that respect.
If the Xbox One S had improved the game install times and some other things horribly wrong with their system I would still be with team Xbox.
So far I am liking the PS4. I only have Uncharted 4 which is a good game to start off playing.
I am looking forward to Transformers Devastation, TMNT Mutants in Manhattan, and Gravity Rush.
I will definitely be playing more of the kid friendly games on PS4 such as Little Big Planet 3, Ratchet and Clank, TearAway, and Knack.
I bought a PS3 in 2009 due to my anticipation of The Last Guardian. I got burned on that one pretty bad, got upset, and jumped to Team Xbox.
Now 7 years later I MAY actually get to play it : )
If I bought just the vanilla version of Destiny how big would the update be to start playing. I only have a 500gb ps4 with no intentions of upgrading the hard drive. I want to play through the single player aspect of the vanilla version just to experience this game but do not want to have to download a huge 20GB+ update just to play through the 10 hour campaign.
I have very slow internet and not really a lot of time to play console based videogames.
I watched in horror because I knew as a child there was no way I was getting one for Christmas but even if I was grown and had the money at the time I would not have spent that much on the console.
I can see the value in the system at the time but it was still too high. I also recall them showing how 2 HDTVs could be hooked up at the same time and display the game (they showed of Gran Turismo I think) you were playing.
HDTVs at the time were extremely expensive and I just thought to myself who are they trying to sell this thing to..... the monopoly man.
I also remember people getting shot over this thing at launch. Now you can walk in anywhere and walk out with a PS3 for $150...smh
Transformers is one of the main reasons I just picked up a PS4 slim. I will still be buying the disk copy but this is a really good set of games for those with PS+.
December 1st the video game awards, December 2nd some pretty decent Nintendo releases, December 3rd and 4th PSX. We are starting off the last month with a bang!
Just joined the ps4 family last night. I traded in my Wii U and all games and purchased the Ps4 slim uncharted 4 bundle. I still had enough credit to put toward a NX next year. I am a Nintendo fan first and foremost but I really wanted to play Transformers Devastation, TMNT Mutants in Manhattan, and the Gravity Rush games so I jumped on the PS4 bandwagon.

@frankmcma
I was really looking forward to For Honor but now I have zero interest in it because of the always online feature for single player.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This... Christmas? - Issue 5
Oh boy this is posted on a Friday night!
Well I have been playing animal crossing new leaf and hearthstone pretty much all day.
Saturday I will be waiting on Jingle to arrive. I have literally been checking my list waiting to deliver the right gifts to the correct residents.
On Christmas I will be getting 8 ps4 games and enough cash to purchase a Nintendo Switch day one (If it is in stock).
I will probably wind up purchasing Deus Ex go from the Google play store since it is on sale.

Re: For Honor Will Require an Internet Connection on PS4
I was very intrigued and now I will never purchase it.

Just bought Knack so I will fire that one up. I am having a hard time putting Animal Crossing New Leaf down since the update.

Just started Transformers Devastation and will be playing Animal Crossing waiting on Jack to arrive on Monday.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 140
I beat Uncharted 4 earlier in the week.
Last night I purchased Shovel Knight so I will be playing through it.

Playing through a few chapters on Uncharted 4. I will also be trying to win the fishing tournament in Animal Crossing New Leaf.
