Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Sony's State of Play for February 2025?

I thought it was really great, started slow.

I don’t know what the people in comments expect? They are clearly pivoting after the live service gamble did not pay off. Lots of new IP and partner content on show - kudos for not more sequels.

Days gone getting a deserved second shot with a remaster

Some of the amazing creative efforts on show and people are here saying “‘mid” “boring” you guys need to play better games and mix it up.

Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard, FC 25 Underperform, Force EA to Lower Financial Forecast

I really would encourage either fans of mass effect or action RPG’s to pick up Dragon Age. It starts of slow and as my entry to the series its lore heavy picking up from the previous game.

But it’s just fantastic and so so polished. It’s criminal how more are not picking the game up.

Between this and Prince of Persia I despair a little at sales, especially when I see the top 10 games on PlayStation be f2p rubbish live service

It’s a fantastic game, and it arrived day 1 polished and bug free - that’s worth praise alone.

There is a hate campaign against the game online which quite frankly tiresome because of its strong push towards inclusivity.

20 years ago if you didn’t like a game you would go play something else but people now make it an obsession to start campaigns against it, which involve targeting developers. It’s incredibly sad and I actually feel a little sorry for the people who sit online and type this type of bile.

Re: Forspoken PS5 Patch Will Address Performance, Graphics, and More as Dev Remains 'Committed'

I finished this game last night, and its weird because I get the critique from a lot of the fury but also the game is so fun, and the story gets really bloody good - with great performances at the end.

it just starts off so rough, and because of how the game basically unlocks and becomes more fun as you earn magic it then sadly just ends - they could have used a few more chapters to let it all breath a bit, with a general polish up on a lot of the cut scenes - some of them were ps2/ps3 era in terms of animation.

it was defiently kicked out the door as to not get in the way of FF16 later in year but my god has it hurt what should have been a big new IP.

Re: Poll: What Was Your Favourite PS5, PS4 Game in January 2023?

Im being deadly serious when im saying I am LOVING forspoken. took a gamble on it, first 4 hours are a bit of a mess (still entertaining) but after you start taking down the bosses it just sings. the magic parkour stuff is genius. The demo didn't explain any of it how it worked but the game slowly teaches you everything. what I will say though is the performance needs patched and the side content stuff in the "open world" is rubbish.
