Re: Sony's Huge Days of Play Sale on PS Plus Subs, PS5 Games, Accessories, Begins This Week

@Whately86 I buy £50 vouchers for around £42 when the offer is available at shopto. You redeem the code they send via psn store and it credits your account. Then you select whatever deal it is you are wanting on the store and it will give you the discounted total. As that money is coming from the voucher you bought at shopto, you get extra savings.

I bought two years of extra during the Black Friday sale and saved a load.

I must be missing something here. I am on Essential and recently let it 'expire' to a rolling monthly waiting for a deal, which has now arrived.

All the plans are talking about monthly prices and not annual. For example, I can only resubscribe to Essential at 6.99GBP per month. The other options offer me a discount but quote me a monthly price e.g. Extra at 10.99GBP per month.

I can't see the 37.49GBP annual price that is quoted in this article anywhere.

Any help? Cheers

Very interested to see more of this. Dragon Quest Tales of and Blue Dragon vibes for me and anything like those games and I'm interested. Would like to have seen Switch included on the list though as I feel this type of games are great on handhelds

@darksoul77 I hear you about following drivers more than the teams. But I can't help but have a soft spot for Williams and McLaren, especially after experiencing Mansell Mania and seeing Senna rip through Woodcote for the first time.

Who's the talent you mention? Obviously I'm biased towards the Brits but I think Norris, Russell and Leclerc all have an excellent shot at a WDC in the next few years.

Love F1 but on this occasion, I'll stick to actually racing the cars.

Hoping to bury the memory of last season. Absolute and utter disgrace from the FIA. Change the regs to improve performance of higher raked cars, baffling decisions throughout the season and then chuck away the rule book to make sure someone other than Mercedes won ultimately to entice more fans (money) into the sport.

Been watching and attending f1 since I was about 7.

Re: EA Believes Blockchain Based Games May Be Industry's Future

The whole of society is moving digital and has been for years. Why would gaming be any different? How many of us winged at Xbox for pushing digital on us? And then how many of those whiners then went on to buy more digital than physical? How many of us whinged at horse armour and then proceeded to spend loads on micro transactions?

Nfts have some amazing advantages (and disadvantages). Taking your collections (art, photos, music, games) with you anywhere in the world has value to people. The blockchain is proof of authenticity so no one can ever rip off the next digital Mona Lisa and the chance to earn while playing games has value to millions around the world at a time when jobs are getting more scarce. Post work economy and all that.

I'm a physical gamer where possible but the idea of making money while gaming sounds interesting.

CDPR are a listed company now and the rot started as soon as they became one, leading to that launch debacle. Investors want money, at any cost, leading to CDPR having to focus almost all of their resources on new projects. There's no money to be made in 77 anymore and EA have proven that reputation by no means hinders the ability to make she'd loads of profit.
