I got the founders pack. I love super smash all the way back to n64. I beat ultimate and played all the dlc. This is fantastic in its own right. I feel like the characters are all unique. Hoping for a short campaign for each character.

Game pass has been great for me. I love jumping around and playing new and old games. I pay for game pass with rewards. I also still buy games. I love gaming and have enjoyed all types of games. It lets players play your game. I don’t know why I should care about the “business” and even the economics of it.

I agree. The presentation really showed the value of game pass. I was excited the entire way through. So many games and a huge variety of games and genres. I appreciated they started the show by sticking to a year of what’s to come. Probably not with all of them but it gave us a scope. Game pass is a steal.

Y’all weird about single player games. Just enjoy your hobby and I’ll enjoy mine.

Really sad day. E3 is always a big deal to me and I sometimes take work off for it. Feels weird that it’s fragmented. I don’t own a ps5 or Pc but still liked following along seeing if it’s something I would want. It was nice having a standard yearly showcase for developers and publishers to show their work and talk about their work. I still believe these conventions are big for industries. Great way to network peer to peer and to reach a greater audience.

I really loved borderlands one and got burnt out on borderlands two. Tried getting back into the series with the prequel on the switch and didn’t like it. Got tiny Tina’s because my friends love the series. I’m really enjoying it and my partner loves all the table top references and jokes.

I bought BF2042 because I’ve always loved the gameplay. Big open maps, play how you want and objective based. I loved 1942, Vietnam, 1943, all the bad companies and even one was fun. This game is just so unbalanced and has ridiculous exploits. I even bought the deluxe to play a week early. They still haven’t put out the battle pass. EA should refund that portion of the payment for starters. Having to level up to get anti tank mines and anti aircraft is plainly stupid. Operators are broken. Air being overpowered being able to spawn camp incoming vehicles and fly off map to heal back up. You can drive the hovercraft up vertical walls like a boat and even a mountain. You can drop vehicles on sky scrapers to camp capture points. I don’t know what they can do to make me go back as a staple in my gaming regiment.

VRR is great. I bought a 4K tv to the exact specs to use my new console to its fullest. And this is a feature they said would come and the consoles been out a year.

@mucc Both subscriptions should just automatically put them in your account. Why give me the choice to claim them or not? What’s the benefit of not claiming it? Why even have the option? I don’t have to claim music on Spotify or shows on Netflix. I’m already subscribed just give me the content.
. Not sure why you brought up Games with Gold but at least I can pay for my subscription with reward points for playing games. Spent 20 bucks for 10 months of Game Pass ultimate. Pretty amazing value for myself.

I don’t understand the concept that if you don’t claim the game in a month you don’t get it. Really glad I left the Sony ecosystem. So much confusion. At least have a set standard and follow it.

No sense in making a game pass clone. They already have ps now. The issue with streaming services is now everyone wants their own. Microsoft and Sony could work together and make game pass even better. Get Nintendo in on it too and have them all share in the money. Best bet for consumers is being able to play what ever we want where ever we want how ever we want. Make a unity between the big three so the gamers don’t splinter even more.

I think it’s pretty fun. I’m in a hotel so can’t do online but the gun play feels crisp and can see it being really great with a few friends. Not sure it’s worth the sticker price for the game but that’s the beauty of game pass for me personally. Not sure the hate on all the vanity cosmetics. At least I don’t have to buy the operators in siege but you can always pay with in game currency. Better then no game at all so a win for myself.

This game is amazing. Pretty much a walking simulator side scrolling platformer but I played it from start to finish in one sitting which was about five hours. Visuals and music are a treat and the story was bonkers

I definitely care more what game developers have to say about GOTY then "gamers." Nominee for tech should of been MSFS for console since it's the first ever on a console and surprises everyone I show from kids to gamers to moms to cats.

I bought the deluxe which came with the first year of battle passes and they haven’t even rolled those out yet. Maps get stale after awhile. No party chat and no way to coordinate your teams squad. Each squad not spawning with a vehicle is really bad decision and having to run for a few minutes to get into action. No balance and having to level up to get weapons to take out over powered vehicles is ridiculous. Only fun with friends and that’s still a stretch but at least you can coordinate.

Deep Rock Galactic and Dirt 5 are amazing. DRG online community is really pleasant. You can solo it but I'd join groups for most of it.

Dirt 5 is amazing. Play some of the custom maps players made. Also Deep Rock Galactic is amazing. The community is really great and has one of the lowest toxicity rates of any game I've played. Great.

@SilentS totally understand. I love trying out games so it works well for my life. It’s a lot of little nonsense to do everyday in bing and get achievements.

I hope Sonys service leans more towards game pas then Nintendo online.

@SilentS I pay my game pass with my Microsoft reward points every month. Takes a little bit of time and effort but I’m a few months ahead now.

This game is great and most people should give it a shot. Most people online are really helpful and you can have an amazing time.

Very surprised Sea of Thieves isn't on the Ongoing list. Implemented Seasons, did the whole Pirates of the Caribbean update and added underwater dungeons.

If you are an extreme sports video game fan this is a must buy.

Going to get my Wii U running to play this.

Surprised the MMO's aren't higher in the list due to their continuous updates, massive audiences and the ability to play coop with friends and family. 1 on the NES is my favorite. Back when games had huge manuals. Fold out map and on the other side was the monsters stats and pictures.

Easy Pass from me. Played these games my whole life. I'd like to play a new one.

If you don’t like the site then maybe don’t visit it and comment on the posts. You all come here for the news and the writers get opinions especially on their expertise. I was hoping for something more with the presentation. I dropped Sony after the PS4. Nothing on PS+, PS Now or VR. I don’t like remakes. I already played KOTOR when I was a preteen and Alan Wake when I was a late teen. I’m also not a fan of comic book movies/games. Ghostwire, Deathloop and that animal transferring game were the highlights. Project Eve looked great but I don’t know those developers. That genre has strong developers that I lean towards. Was hoping for some announcements for this year. They didn’t do E3 or Gamescom. I’m still not sold on why I would get a PS5. I know why I bought my switch and my Xbox. Was hoping Sony could offer a rebuttal but I guess I’m just content.

One of the final straws for me to pack up my PS4 was when they took Factions off of TLOU2. I loved factions in the first game and was severely confused that they didn’t release tlou2 with it. I didn’t care for the single player of the first game and didn’t make it very far. I like coop and multiplayer games but I’ll do single player if I dig the gameplay. I started realizing that Sony games don’t do multiplayer at all or that well and started gaming on my PC again.

Game is great. Can't stop playing it. Took off two days and played the game mostly. Oozes with style and is generally hilarious. Visual design is near perfect. Platforming and combat our fun. Story is easy to follow and wacky. Can't get enough of the emotional baggage.

The game has been really fun. Going to be jumping between huge maps doing challenges on this and horizons 5 come early November.

Game was great. The attention to detail and the alternative history was engaging. Ending was very memorable. I probably wouldn’t have played it if it wasn’t on game pass. Not a game I usually purchase.

Game is amazing. Enjoy. Hopefully the online portions have fuller lobbies once it's on Nintendo and PlayStation.

120 FPS is a game changer for this game. Really elevated my skill ceiling. Have fun!

The best parts of San Andreas was riding a bicycle, putting stats in, and the gang wars were fun.

@Rob_230 Enslaved was so good. The ending was very eye opening. I love how the built in the anxiety and paranoia into the atmosphere in Hell Blade. I got to get farther though.

Really interesting way to exhibit art. Would love to see smaller acts be able to offer this to a marketplace in a game.

Really great game! I've put in hundreds of hours between my PC and Xbox. Great learning curve too. Some broken collision detection and wonky physics at times but if you love skateboarding you'd love this.

I really enjoyed this game. The atmosphere is done very well and I dug the very focused story. Should be great with the dual sense. Have fun!

@Apathiik I got an X series and a switch. I didn’t really enjoy my time with my PS4 so I hopped back to the Xbox platform. I get Nintendo to game with my family and have jumped between Xbox and PlayStation since PS1. I tried Game Pass on my PC and loved it and didn’t need to upgrade my PC yet but wanted to run games better.

Didn't know anything about this game but I love Kunio games and those dodgeball ones were classics. This looks right up my alley and super grateful it's on Game Pass for me to try out while I'm playing a lot of other games.

EDIT: Tried it out and its quite fun. I didn't have much time so I appreciated that I could skip the story very quickly and just get to the action. Going to be interesting when I get into the RPG and Team elements.

What do you get from the e-trophies? I never understood the phenomena. I like getting achievements when they randomly pop up but hardly have I ever looked up a list of trophies or achievements to pursue them. It seems like a way to lock you into a platform. Glad Nintendo never went this route. At least with Xbox I get reward points to donate to charities. If you like the incentive good for you and if it keeps people engaged with their games then hopefully developers take notes and easily update them because I don't think it's too hard.

Yeah mine ran out in July and I jumped ship to Xbox and Game Pass this generation. My PS4 is in storage. Couldn't bear the long file updates and the fan and the controller.

@Fenbops Console wars is very short sighted. People complain over publishers buying developers but overlook companies buying out farmers and distributors buying out locally sourced industries. It’s just video games. It’s just a hobby of all of ours. Buy what you want but don’t point fingers when your side is doing it too.

I'm tired of remakes. A director's cut is just a remake. Just make new games or make a sequel. These are all minimal effort decisions and work to cash in on consumers and collectors. If it's a way to bring a game from generation to generation just make it a free upgrade like smart delivery. I'm not supporting games I've either already bought and played or games I already decided on not buying and playing.
