Dear Push Square,

It all started in 3rd grade.....

For some reason I could not get into this game. I did finish it, but it was just way too out there for me to really appreciate the story. Plus, there were so many times I had no idea what I should be doing or where I should go. It was just confusing for me overall.

Can I just say that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered crashes more than Stevie Wonder trying to drive home during rush hour? Can we fix that before we work on how pretty the grass and trees look?

@get2sammyb Agreed. I definitely understand where there are times when a video cannot (or should not) be linked. But PushSquare obviously has no issues linking to videos when they do a State of Play and have a post with links to all the videos of the games that were announced.

@dskatter I'm not over here lighting torches and grabbing a mob to take down PushSquare. I simply stated that it would be a nice addition to see footage of a game or games they are talking about or reviewing...ya know, like other sites have done, without having to navigate the correct game trailer for a game I've never seen or heard of.

@dskatter I didn't say anything at all about them not posting links to their reviews. I suggested they add videos of gameplay or trailers in addition. Not removing their reviews altogether.

@TedLassoNikes Sure they can link to their reviews (which I do look at), but there's never any video of gameplay or any trailers typically. So I now have to go to YouTube and hope I'm finding the right trailers.

I really wish they'd post links to trailers for these games on YouTube or something instead of just linking to their reviews.

@VeldinX Color scheme is about the only context that doesn't sound negative. No one really uses the word 'scheme' in the US without it being tied to something negative. Googling it here shows the first 2 entries (noun and verb) as negatives and being dishonest.

As a reader from the US, the word 'scheme' is always used negatively - as in someone trying to hustle you. So, as an American...scheme sounds about right regarding this nonsense. 😆

@Styledvinny79 That didn't quite answer my question. I have the PS4 digital version, and when I play it on my PS5 it looks identical to playing it on the PS4 Pro. I don't see any additional enhancements.

@Styledvinny79 Did you play the original on PS4 or PS4 Pro? Because it was one of the 4 Pro enhanced games. So you might be seeing the PS4 Pro version for the first time if you only had a PS4. And this is supposed to support the PS5 Pro enhanced as well.

@dschons Even the very beginning with the twins, there's far more detail that goes into the setup the group did. It is NOT a 1-1 copy of the original.
I will give some credit to those that gripe about the $60 price point. This game definitely would sit easier with an upgrade option.

@MeatyVeg You're right...Fortnite is too advanced for you. if brains were dynamite, you wouldn’t have enough to blow your nose.

sigh All these people critiquing a game they haven't played yet. And the "I've heard on the internet..." posts are exhausting.
I loved the original. I got the remake last night and love it all over again. It really felt like I was playing a new game from the changes.
Here's a really good idea...if you don't like the game then don't buy it and go back to playing Fortnite.

I've said for YEARS that they should use gamer info to verify sales. If you got a PSN that's years old, tons of trophies, etc... that should be the priority for ordering.
I'm not saying to not allow any sales to those that don't qualify, but instead prioritize the people who are actually going to buy it and use it.

You mean Sony isn't doing a Nintendo trick by intentionally releasing low stock products to create a 'fake' buzz?
I don't think there are a ton of people racing out to buy a $700 'upgrade'. If this was the original release of the PS5, I'm sure there'd be a lot more demand.

I guess I'm confused on the whole misogyny and anger about playing as a female. I'm not Asian or a samurai either, so playing as a female character would be the least of my obstacles.
If playing a female character is going to put you into a tailspin, don't play the damn game... 🤷🏼‍♂️

I'm 100% for these remasters. The biggest hindrance to re-playing PS4 titles are the insanely long load times. For $10, I'm in.

I loved this game so much that after I got the platinum trophy, I went ahead and played the game to 100% again 🙃

Why isn't there an option that says:
"I love the remasters and can't wait for more titles!"?
I like replaying these games with the faster load times and (potentially) new content.

So...with only 12,300 units being made - 12,000 will go to scalpers doubling the price. Sony wins, consumers lose.

Now that the firmware is out, I guess there's no harm is saying I beta tested this last update. I didn't have any issues until it went 'live' with the public update and then I started having a few games crash on me since.

I'll just wait 2 years when they announce the PS6 that features backwards compatibility and makes the PS5 Pro games even more Pro'er...ya know, just like the PS5 did for the PS4 Pro.

When i'm playing a game trying to kill 20 zombies and not die, I don't care what the light looks like on the floor in the distance. I'll always pick performance over a few little strands of grass in a field.

I got the PS4 Pro and was disappointed in the number of games that actually took advantage of the updates. $700 for a smaller list of games on the PS5 Pro makes this a hard pass for me.

At this point, if this guy is involved in any game production - It'll be a hard pass for me. He has spent years whining like a child. Hopefully other employers are taking note of this guys immature reactions and will avoid hiring someone with a grade school temperament. Does he also yell at kids to get off his law and kick puppies as a hobby?

How many more physical versions of consoles will there be? Eventually, bandwidth will be universally fast enough to support gaming that can evolve without limitations of a console, right? Meaning we all can have the 'latest and greatest' without worrying about EOL equipment and constantly upgrading. Or am I reading too many sci-fi articles?

Why is the adapter USB-A? At this point in the game it should be USB-C. So now I'll need an adapter to plug in my adapter.

Definitely my fav in the series after RE4. I'm guessing they'll have to change the story pretty dynamically. A cross-dressing murderer is probably not going to fly in todays world.

I'm still not understanding why so many people are dumping on this game and on the remake/remaster. I've played this game at least a dozen times now and have watched several friends play through the story, and I still see new things each time. While the plot itself may be linear, the story will always change based on one decision.
And for those asking for a free or $10 upgrade...I wouldn't hold your breath. This sounds like a deep rework rather than just tossing in a few updated graphics.

I'm just hoping they'll add the pre-order DLC that was never available at any other time. It really didn't add anything to the story, but it has alway irked me that I never got in on the preorder.

@ThaBEN - I actively seek out Atmos supported products just for the experience it's given me.
Here's a simple example - I played Resident Evil 2 on XBox because it supported Atmos. I could actually tell if Mr. X was upstairs because the sounds were being broadcast above me.
Then when it comes to music (Apple Music support Atmos), I can now hear things in songs I never noticed before. This could also bother some feeling it changes the original sound of the song.

This like the move 'Clue' from the 80's. It had 3 different endings when it was released at theaters - so I could go to one theater and see one ending and you could go to another and see an entirely different ending.

This is definitely a November release - probably scheduled for the holiday shopping season.

This FINALLY fixed my 'Shining Example' side quest that bricked the quest. After the update, I loaded up the game and it automatically completed without me doing anything! The completionist in me is now able to return to normal life

Unfortunately, this didn't fix a quest breaking bug for me on Shining Example. The completionist in me is dying a slow death...

Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology are insanely great Supermassive Games. I can't wait for this!

The update didn't fix a game break for me in one quest. It just moved the marker a few steps away. Only hope I have now is for New Game+ to come out so I can try all over again.
