Unless my PS5 breaks none of these slight improvements justify me punting for a pro (nope don't do it). Same with last generation, it was only the fact one PS4 broke that made me upgrade. I'll wait till the PS6 that's if Sony don't jettison physical releases then it's time for a PC.

If it's Reef they did a fairly decent job with Resistance at least the PS5 version. A bit janky but quite faithful to the franchise.

I hope it's going to be better than Mirage!

Just 7 hours in to the first game and loving it despite a ropey start on my part. The only worry is should I go straight onto the second after this or play something else for fear of Henry overkill!

Really wish they'd just remaster Bloodborne as aren't interested in this nor the previous expansion. Or a new IP entirely?

Personally I'm finding second and thirty party titles far more interesting. Less preaching and box ticking for one!

Can't get excited at all, there have been so many games similar released in the gap that likely are better than ES6. Not a case of not believing the hype as don't need it!

@Tom_Gamer They may be going for a Stranger Things vibe which is pushing the eighties to the limit by now as must be early nineties at least the last season.

Also a lot of modern films have a synth score despite not being set in the eighties (Drive for example).

I'm confused, the physical UK release isn't exactly dirt cheap for a 6 hour game? Or will that include all parts? Wish they could stop releasing games in episodic pieces and just wait till they are all available...

I absolutely loved this game upon initial release the value and atmosphere alone made it a real under appreciated gem. But just can't muster the enthusiasm to play it what a 3rd time.

However if you've a PS5 and never played it you should give it a go. Really felt it got unfairly treated (bit like Alien Isolation in that respect).

Also didn't they do a new horde mode via a free patch?

The hype train be running and likely crashing and burning upon release!

Let's wait and see how Season 2 pans out first. Even though I liked the second game (up to a point) TV audiences may not be so forgiving. I also enjoyed Season 1 but still feel the casting was poor for Ellie.

@Kiefer-Sutherland Are you playing on a Phillips TV or similar? Everything true 4K darkens and it's difficult as hell to calibrate.

I never understood and considering the success of Witcher 3 on PS4/5 why they didn't remaster the first two for the PS5 at least. Seems a missed opportunity and would beat Naughty Dog etc re-re-releasing something.

Ciri looks fine in the trailer, not sure why the hate? It's not like she's been at the pies like Aloy or whatever that was in Outlaws...

@Rich33 Surely the hate for the most part is because of a narrative/agenda pushed so sloppily upon the player? IMHO it felt like a Disney writer had been let lose on the project In other words a once beloved franchise neutered till very little of the fun of the originals remains. I doubt it's even a dislike of LGBT issues for most just it wasn't subtle. They should learn from Baldurs Gate 3 or the Life Is Strange series; have diversity but let it be part of the story.

@Ainu20 I liked it too and felt it was let down by Infinite Wealth as a follow up. IW has to have one of the most drawn out monotonous end level segments in the series history. It just drags and the repetitive battles needed serious editing. It got so bad I wanted an easy option just to rush through them.

Wish they'd concentrate on new NIN material rather than the soundtracks which mostly sound the same.

Challengers was a bit more up tempo thankfully but hardly up there with the best NIN albums.

It could be worse folks, they could be pushing another article about games that aren't even out on PS5. Indiana Jones springs to mind...

I tried Infinity Nikki for a few hours but just can't get into the whole gacha thing so uninstalled it. I get these games are FTP but can't help but feel Infinity Nikki would have been off as a stand alone paid retail game without any gacha involved.

Also it doesn't help there are just too many decent games out there to play now without my attention wandering to these FTP titles.

DEI if put into a game merely to tick a box/boxes should always be called out. If it's there to help the story fair enough but let's not do a Disney and just bung it in for the sake of it.

This is why I far prefer Japanese games to recent western releases as the chances of that crap happening is nil. Games can be art (and many are) and art should stand on it's own merit without some iffy consultant overlooking production with a tick sheet...

Hopefully it's not like the other industry strikes in the UK where a weak government gives into the demands then the greedy unions just demand more. Gotta break the cycle somehow...

It has a bit of a Ghostwire Tokyo vibe although I hope I'm wrong and there is more horror to this title considering those involved.

Please can Push do an investigation into what is happening with GAME UK? Customers are being fleeced left, right and centre. Money taken, no games or consoles shipped I mean when do trading standards get involved?

Obviously not totally relevant to this article but can Push do or investigate what is exactly happening with UK retailer GAME?
Since changing hands the (lack of) customer service and pre-orders disappearing antics are verging on criminal. Has anyone for example who pre-ordered Outlaws several months ago received theirs or been given an explanation why pre-orders aren't being shown in their order history?
