Re: Video: Why Sony Will Never Make the PS Vita 2

nicugoalkeper

I think that the question is better put this way. Can the PS Portal connect and play games from Sony servers and not only from PS5 (PS5 is a server for Portal). And if so, and if they will implement this function later, then will we still need the Vita?

Re: Where to Pre-Order PlayStation Portal

nicugoalkeper

What I don't like is people that are saying that something is not ok before it being out and before testing it. If someone says I believe that this is a bad product because i tested it an this is like this and this is not, the yes is ok. But reading here many just say is not ok but none of them tested it.
@Constable_What if a Backbone controller or other alternatives are so great whatwas the need for Sony to make a pricey PS Portal.
I know people are angry (some) for the fact that Sony didn't make a new PS Vita! But that is another product, so don't bash PS Portal untill you tested it.
Also another interesting thing is that if this works with little to no lag when you are on outside WiFI. Then I don't see why Sony can't add a function for it to be paired to his streaming service, without the need of a PS 5 (this is only speculation on my part).

Re: Where to Pre-Order PlayStation Portal

@Constable_What sry to say it but you just want to prove your point. Still the reality is a lot different at the moment. In Japan all pre-orders are sold out, and the sales charts in other countries like the USA, UK, and Germany have also shown some phenomenal spikes in traffic around this product. Also you can't tell me that you can get a good 8 inch tablet with a controler for only 200 Dolars. Also not al PS games work well on remote play. But the most important thing is the ergonomics of the PS Portal.

We can say steam Deck is unnecessar, just buy a laptop or a PC and no need for everything else. But is not like this in real world...
Many people just think about their situatio, others don't matter...
Real life proved that what some don't need other do...
So we will wait and see, but I think it will sell well in many markets...

Re: Soapbox: I No Longer Think Subscriptions Like PS Plus, Xbox Game Pass Are the Future of Gaming

nicugoalkeper

At the current price of games, subscriptions are the right choice in 2 situations:
1. Like this article says, we are playing few games in a month, but there are so many games out there that will not get a chance just because we will not pay for them to try the or because we will not install a demo just to try them, or we don't google them to see what they are about. So many companies (usually small) will not get a chance to make some money so they may die. Not every game is the best. Also new companies may not make the first game a AAA... So subscription is a way to make some money. Also if you like a game and got the money you can buy it to help the producer.
2. There are still many poor country's where people only play a few fames and where even the subscription may be high price. So in those country's to buy a single 80 Euros/Dolars game is to much. But to pay 100 Euro for a subscription whit hundreds of games for a year makes alot of sense.
I think this article is written from the point of those that have money and ar buying more then 5 games a year at over 50Euro each. But for the rest where I think is the majority of Playstation console users 1 game over 50 Euro a year may be a lot. So Sony more that Microsoft because of the larger availability may see this in their charts. There are still many which see PSPlus extra as to much to pay, but adding games takes that away.

Re: Soapbox: PSVR2 Already Feels Like It's on Course for Failure

nicugoalkeper

After reading the article and the comments I get the impression that people expect hundreds of games in just a few months from the launch. Also we as humans are not patient enough, we want to know all. Sony invested tome and money and I don't think they will back down so easily. Also don't forget that E3 is no more, not because games are not made, but because no one wants to announce them. The industry is changing in this regard. I think that in 2 -3 years people will say PSVR 2 is a good accessory to buy with a good number if games.
Still Sony we wait for Youtube VR or something similar for PSVR 2, only thing I miss from this headset.

Re: Take a Full Tour of the New PS Plus Tiers

nicugoalkeper

I don't agree for me the diference between PS plus Extra vs Premium is worth it. PS Now + Ps 2 an 1 games even if few is a large library, and PS NOW it depens a lot on good connection. People forget the price of games if we got just 50 games at least 5 euro or dolars a game you will pay 250 euro or dolars for those so more that the subscription. Also let's be onest if you got a big colection o games you will maybe not need this subscription, but if you don't or if you didn't got a ps 1, ps 2 or ps 3 then ps premium is a way to catch up. All in all i think that in time PS premium will dominate, but for starters will be extra.

Re: Reaction: Sony's Positive PS Plus Reboot Proves the Value of Catalogues

nicugoalkeper

Many people are saying that they have many of them, that the list is bad an so on... but they forget that Sony has many players from poor countries (for some even 30 is a big number for a fame) and many players that only buy some games or relay on PS Plus games. So if they mange to add 50% more to they're subscriptions whit extra or premium, Sony will make a lot of money. Also having good games and may games in there only helps geting new people on board.

Re: Sony Shares First Look at PS Plus Extra, Premium Games

nicugoalkeper

I still don't know how people think, but if you take just 2-3 games from the list Spiderman, Returnal and Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut and you pay for them, you will have to pay more that a PS plus Extra or Premium subscription. So yes it is a good price. Now if a game will stay on PS Plus Extra for at leas 4-6 months the I say we have a winner ! This is a win for all that have a PS and don't buy games or buy a few...

Re: Hands On: Best Uses of PS5 DualSense Controller So Far

nicugoalkeper

I think many did not implement this feature because they didn't think that it will be this good, like in Astro.
Now that many dev. have seen it, we will se more games making use of the.
Btw. what is the point to lose time in developing a game for adding new function not tested yet.

Re: Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition Has Multiple Performance Modes on PS5, Including 4K at 60FPS

nicugoalkeper

@BansheeNorn that is like saying that you live in your home and the rest does not matter. Btw. is a EU country, not that it is of any importance, and we have the fastes internet conection in Europe, and maybe the most cheap (poor but fast). Still alot of people need to stop thinking that they are the most important and others are just the rest.
Sony and MS need's adoption so they are not thinking like you that is why they compromise price vs performance.

Re: PS4 to PS5: All Games with Confirmed Free Upgrades

nicugoalkeper

So many need this and that, but Sony did a big leap from PS4 just by the fact that we can play almost all PS4 games on PS5, and we have the benefit of fast loading, the rest that many people ask for is not so easy to make. But I think that almost all the games that still get updates on PS4 will get an update for PS5. As for the rest, it is hard to ask a developer to improve a game for PS5 if he does not get some money out of it. How many of you work for free...
