@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare tbh I was mostly just joking. It just seems like they tend to use the most on-the-nose language to qualify the game as the disaster it was. All for a game they actually gave a good review lmao
Lmao the game def sucked but why does it feel like you guy keep overcompensating for it with these dramatic headlines about it since the disaster?💀it looks almost as if you’re scared of being called ponies for not using highly dramatic/trolling language to reference the game 🤣
@Fighting_Game_Loser the budget argument definitely is not bad, I just think there needs to be a balance in discussing budget along with what that budget actually went into in the game. There is also another layer of the quality of said things the budget went to. There are games that can have big budgets that went to a lot of content, but overall the experience may not be great, or may differ to different people
@Max_the_German while I agree there are some, at the very least understandable, decisions these companies make even if unfavorable to the consumer, I don’t agree with this mindset you’re talking about at all
@RoomWithaMoose tears of the kingdom switch 2 edition is also $80. A last Gen game being priced like that means other games of the same tier would be priced like that
@OldGamer999 both HFW and GOWR were also in development long before the PS5 was announced. I don’t think them releasing after the console dropped is really much of a point to make
@themightyant who the hell is buying fortnite from somebody lmao. Idk if many people have bothered buying those dumb bundles that come with the in-game currencies and skins
lol I understand the point he’s trying to make with the number of copies bought vs a game’s budget, but using the same 250 million number for players and equating that to the same number in dollars of budget makes 0 sense. It’s basic math: it will take less than that many purchases to break even or turn a profit. It’s not $1 per purchase lmfao
@Grimwood lol they literally are sequels. It’s not a hard reboot if the story from the old games is literally discussed and referenced a lot throughout these new games. Maybe call it a soft reboot if you really want to go there.
@RBMango yeah I’m not full-on in that camp but it’s usually a thought I always have when they bomb showcases or state of plays like this lol. I hope it really happens but I don’t think it’s a huge possibility like that

@S1ayeR74 I’m pretty sure there’s a 14-day window to get refunds for digital PS games, unless they’ve changed it for ps5 games
