Re: Swing Around with Move-Enabled Top Spin 4 Demo

Honestly, I think the way Table Tennis in SC was implemented shows what can be done really well. I haven't played Racket Sports, so I can't comment there, but MOVE support really feels like it was thrown together in Top Spin 4. If developers aren't going to take the Move more seriously I am afraid the peripheral will be doomed.

I am pretty disappointed in it. I really don't feel like I am controlling the swing at all, I might as well be hitting a button. It would be nice if you had to back hand a back hand, instead I can just sit in one place and swing the controller the same way every time and it makes little difference.

Crossing my fingers for Virtua Tennis as I don't think I will be picking this one up.

Re: Valve Explains Why You Can't Use Move in Portal 2

I am kind of failing to see how move support couldn't make it better. It has certainly made Killzone 3 better for me and being a huge fan of Portal I really think move support would have put this title over the top on the Ps3. If anybody could make the move work exceptionally well it is Valve.

Re: My Fitness Coach: Club

I really hope this one turns out to be pretty good as the current fitness offerings for the Move or even PS3 are kind of lack luster IMO. I like the idea of the EA sports fitness title, but I have head bad things about the sensors and such.

Re: Top Spin 4 My Player Trailer Serves Up a Career Mode

I am hopeful for the move controls in this one but we will have to see. The table tennis in SC is actually quite encouraging as I thought it was implemented pretty well, I just hope that they somehow incorporate the nav controller to move your character about the court. I don't like it automatically being done for me and all I am controlling is the swing.

Re: Review: R.U.S.E. (PlayStation 3)

TGov

I tried the demo for this last night and I was blown away at how good the controls were with the Move and nav controller. I can't believe I am saying this as I am a long time PC strategy game player but I think I might actually prefer this control scheme to a mouse and keyboard. It really does feel second nature and I am actually faster at getting around the map. Now I am sure the hardcore strategy player that uses keyboard shortcuts for everything will still be faster, but this is the perfect balance for me. I only fear that RUSE wasn't very popular and future RTS games on the move will not be explored. I would love to see a Move patch for C&C Red Alert 3.

I think I will be picking this one up. I had considered buying it for the PC as I participated in the beta for it, but I ended up not buying it for one reason or another.

Re: Review: Top Darts (PlayStation Network)

TGov

It is pretty good, although I don't always feel like I am aiming the dart as much as just flinging it. One thing that would make it so much better for me is the ability to use custom music playlists like Sports Champions does.

Re: Portal 2 to Feature Complete PlayStation Move Support

TGov

Ya, it looks like this isn't the case, but it still will have cross-platform ability and a free PC copy!

That will sell it for me for sure as I wasn't planning on buying the PS3 version as my buddies will all be playing it on PC. Now I can play it on either one

Re: Out Today: Killzone 3 Single-Player Demo (North America)

TGov

I played it a bit yesterday with the dual shock (move hasn't arrived yet) and it seems like it will be a good title. I have never been a fan of FPS on consoles as I am too used to the computer control scheme (not that I play a ton of them: HL2, BF2 etc), so i am looking forward to trying it with the move as it seems like it would be a bit more intuitive for a PC player.
