Well I got my Final Fantasy XVI trailer from the last State of Play so I'm good. I don't have much expectation other than anything about FFXVI or FF7R pt.2.
Still unsure about any subscriptions but good for those who will be subscribing and/or will renew their services. Hope this works well for more contents in the future
Boy that statement aged like milk. Years later, we had one of the best Spider-Man games and now, we're getting a sequel and also a Wolverine game under the same game dev.
Also, I was under the impression that the reason Spider-Man was made exclusive to PS is because of the fact that Sony owns the rights to the Spider-Man movies, which I am aware that it is only on the film side but wouldn't be surprised if they struck a deal with Marvel to make an exclusive game for their platform as well. But hey, I think this was a better scenario
Just waiting for Dissidia 012 and Crisis Core to be added, not just on this subscription but also as a separate purchase hopefully. Also, we need more Ape Escape games to be added.
I'll give it Spring 2023 and maybe Summer 2023 if there is a delay. The game needs more marketing this year for now. Well, that's what I'm hoping for at least so I can have more time to get a PS5
My PSP was my JRPG machine prior to the Vita and Switch. P3 Portable (a.k.a the reason why I wanted a PSP back then), Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII, Radiant Mythology, Dissidia 012, Kingdom Hearts BBS, Disgaea 2 and some other games that I may have forgotten to list (plus the PS1 jrpgs)
Some notable non-jrpg, MGS Peacewalker, MGS Portable OPS, GoW Chains of Olympus, Ghost of Sparta, Pangya, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Castlevania Dracula X Chronicle, the portable Armored Core games and God Eater.
Great times, it was at the time when the PSP was my only console and where I spent hundreds of hours playing games, watching videos and playing music. Overall, one of the best handhelds I've ever owned
I've beaten SoTN for how many times now and is one of my favorite games on PS1. Definitely still stands out even today as one of the best of its genre. Even the soundtrack is still amazing.
Can't say I'm excited for this since I haven't really seen anything from Haven studios yet but it makes sense with the way how Sony approached them before
Tales of Arise, Guilty Gear, Returnal and probably my personal favorite underrated gem of this year, Ender Lillies all should have have been nominated in some of the categories. RE8 Village is probably the only game on this list that I enjoyed the most. MH Rise was fun for a while but dropped it after a few months. Not really my kind of game.
This may be the year where I could care less on most of the nominated games.
Since I don't have a PS5 yet but the list includes cross-gen titles, I chose Ghost of Tsushima, FF7R and Tales of Arise. Some other titles that I like are RE Village, Death Stranding and Demon's Souls (yeah I haven't played the remake yet but it's a quality remake of the PS3 title that I played)
Meh, I'll wait for some actual gameplay. Hard to judge a game simply by looking at screenshots. Beside that, these are old games remastered for the modern consoles so I'm not expecting any major leaps in terms of graphics. My only hope is that Rockstar would one day patch a 60fps on consoles but regardless, I'm picking up the trilogy on my Switch.
I'm still playing mine with Super Robot Wars X, Muramasa, Odin Sphere, etc.
It really sucks to hear these kind of news. I hate that Sony just doesn't give a damn about this handheld anymore. They are like that parent who only cares about their child who's doing very well and ignore the ones who are failing even though they are asking for help.
On the other hand, you have them modders who are like the bestfriend/uncle who supports the Vita and give them a 2nd chance to prove how good they really are.
Another Fromsoftware title that will take me months to beat. Play the game, get frustrated after dying 50 times, don't touch it for a few weeks, try another game, play Elden Ring again and repeat.
I guess Nintendo is the only console maker that will remain full exclusive unless they consider porting their main games to mobile which is a lot scarier.
Maybe it's fine if this is the direction Sony wanted to go. I'm not a PC gamer, I've always prefer the simplicity of consoles and handhelds. Reaching out to a wider audience is good too though how this will affect their console in the long run remains to be seen
This was such a cringeworthy trailer. The jokes weren't even funny and just trying too hard. The game may end up just fine (not that I'm gonna play it anyway) but yeah, that trailer is just unbearable to watch.
I love the Fatal Frame trilogy from PS2 especially Crimson Butterfly. Bummer that this wasn't well received. Never played this one but will give it a shot. I hope that these underwhelming reviews doesn't affect any chances of the first three to get remaster/ported.
Ah it's not FFXVI but it's something. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. It's rough on the edges but the gameplay looks fun. I mean FF Origins was also rough on it's first reveal but looked better on the recent trailer so I'm sure this will be polished as well. It's been a while since I've played a Star Ocean game anyways and that was the one from PS2
Okay, I'm really looking forward to this game now more than ever. That overworld traversal reminds me of the good old JRPGs back in the PS1 era. I was hoping we'll finally get a release date but I guess not.
It's just 10 minutes of Deathloop with new DLC and a reminder that GTAV is still coming to PS5. Then the rest is history.... no seriously, we better not see GTAV and Deathloop again. Will keep expectations low as usual
Also, Final Fantasy XVI. I'll forgive you for showing Deathloop and/or GTA related games just as long as I get to see more of FFXVI
@PapaGlitch Vice city was also my favorite out of the three. I spent my time on this game mostly on my PS2 back then and it's the one I'm looking forward to playing again in this trilogy
Pretty meh to me. I really don't get Sony's strange obsession of making movies out of video game franchises lately. Games like Uncharted, Resident Evil and MGS should've been left as video games. I know a lot of people say something like "this game is so good, it should be a movie" but I don't think it should be taken literally.
Also, at least cast Nathan Fillon. He's definitely the Nathan Drake that many people will accept.
Eh, I've already come in terms with Sony releasing their 1st parties on PC. Just as long as it's not a day and day release, it's fine. You still need them exclusives to sell your console.
Great game but I still haven't finished it yet. Kinda burnt out to the PS games formula of 3rd-person cinematic experience. I kinda prefer the old GoW games tbh. But that aside, congrats to Santa Monica
Yeah, they seem to appear as some douchebags with that cocky attitude. Even if they have some good designs and I wanted a new faceplate, I'd rather get one from other 3rd party vendors that sells them quietly
Look, everyone wants a custom plate and whatnot but daring a large company like Sony to sue them is just plain dumb. They bit more than they chew with that statement and honestly, serves them right.
Still have an original Vita and this thing is truly a beast for its time. The OLED screen looks fantastic in a lot of games. I especially appreciate it when playing with 2D games like any of the Vanillaware titles. Gravity Rush is still one of the best games this thing can offer in terms of exclusives. But one of the main reason why I still love the Vita until today is the amount of JRPG and quality indie games on the system.
I'm interested with DQX offline. Sucks that we won't be seeing anything new from Elden Ring tho. On the contrary, I think it's better to not see too much from this game. I really want to play Elden Ring as blindly as possible.
Well, no arguments with the top 5. Heck, you can swap the no. 1 and no. 2 spot and I'm still okay with it. IMO, Type-0 should have been higher than any of the XIII Trilogy, in fact, I'd dare say that it is what XIII should have been (if only it was still called Agito XIII and XV is still Versus XIII). Then again, this was a vote from the fans so I won't complain much
Haven't gotten too far from the game yet but I'm really enjoying Arise. I got to say that this may be one of the few tales game that has a dark plot. I do love the characters though not as much as Xillia but they are great. Oh and Rinwell is my favorite character so far. Can't give a definitive rating yet but I feel that this will be one of my GoTY
Sony definitely did a great job with their launch titles but fans are hungry for more and it didn't help that some of their exclusives were cross-gen releases. I'm really excited on things to come. I'm confident with their current studios. They really don't need to buy more at this point and just keep ironing out what they already have. 2022 and beyond are looking good, not just for Playstation but for the gaming industry as a whole
I'm not sure how I feel about this trailer. Some of the CGI looks meh. Leon still doesn't look and feel like Leon. Same can be said with Claire....heck I think pretty much the entire cast doesn't look and feel like the OG characters.
Not saying this will be a bad movie and I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. The atmosphere does make this look like a legit horror movie.
@Xaessya A new Ape Escape on the PS5 would be great. Heck, I'd take a remake of the OG PS1 and PS2 games from Blue Point. Just make Ape Escape great again Sony.
Anyway, this whole Silent Hill rumours, as great as they are but I'd rather wait for an official announcement but hey, if it does end up happening, then we're getting that Silent Hills that we were supposed to have for the PS4 some few years ago and I'll be ready for another Kojima P.T. demo.

Whelp, time for the good ol' Right, R2, Circle, R1, L2, Square, R1, R2 then.
Re: The Game Awards to Feature New Game Announcements in the Double Digits
Not getting my hopes up. It's very likely that I will only like at least one or two game announcements.
Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite PS3 Games
The PS3/Xbox 360 is probably my least favorite console generation but here are some of the notable games that I enjoyed on my PS3:
1. Metal Gear Solid 4
2. Tales of Xillia
3. Armored Core 4 Answer
4. Tales of Graces F
5. Armored Core Verdict Day
6. Dark Souls
7. Assassin's Creed 2 Brotherhood
8. Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost
9. Rune Factory Tides of Destiny
10. Disgaea 4

Re: Elden Ring Collector's Edition Outed Ahead of Gameplay Reveal
I'm hyped! Definitely a day 1 purchase for me. In the meantime, I feel like replaying Sekiro and Dark Souls after seeing that 15 minutes gameplay.
p.s. was that Vaatividya who did the narration? That's actually a welcoming surprise if he did.
Re: FromSoftware to Share 15 Minutes of Elden Ring Gameplay Tomorrow
Just going to wait for Vaati to analyze the gameplay and explain some of the lore.
